There are two students who are top-ranked in Singapore. Hailing from Singapore Polytechnic, Poon Xin Yi and Chin Weizi both scored 220 points for their work judged as the best from Singapore.
This was for “The Beer That Should Not Exist”, a piece of work that won in multiple categories. Poon and Chin created a sustainable beverage made from surplus bread and spoilt fruit that wowed judges for its non-conventional approach to advertising communications.
Singapore Polytechnic’s Jerrell Ko, Jeremy Tan, David Gan and Martin Teo round off the runners-up position with 160 points each.
For Malaysia, 11 students scored 80 points. They are Kua Soo Kuan, Mohd Fareez, Ng Xue Yi and Nur Atiqah of MMU; Chew Meng Zheng, Lee Chun Shen, Lim Chee Yong and Tan Ju Ey from The One Academy; Hugo Gimfil Pikil and Vaisuriya Anpananthan of City University followed by Peggy Ting from Raffles University.
They all share top spot for a wide body of work across all the different categories.
